SPECIAL NIGHT-TIME BROADCAST

1st HOUR: American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) writes rubber stamp laws for state governments across the country. "A bill mill" for over twenty-eight state legislatures in the United States it started as a secret society among the devoted followers of the plutocratic Koch brothers in Wichita, Ks. Mass opposition has caused corporations to stop being sponsors of ALEC. Yet over fifty representatives of the Kansas Legislature spent $14,000 of taxpayers money in travel expenses to the last convention in San Diego, California.

Today in downtown Lawrence in the South Side Park, protesters marched through downtown Lawrence and gathered to hear elected leaders and others in opposition to ALEC in Kansas. Hear the speeches today and the sounds of protest in Kansas on Radio Free Kansas.
