Nelson Jones is an activist within the movement to end human trafficking. In 2017, he began his efforts in Morganton, North Carolina. He has volunteered for Shannon Speaks and Shield NorthCarolina.
He currently volunteers for Human Trafficking Rescue Inc and In Our Backyard. 2 years ago, he launched Trafficking Insights which is a platform that was designed to raise awareness at a higher level and promotes what others are doing against human-trafficking. In 2022, Trafficking insights is launching into a nonprofit.
As a survivor of a trafficking attempt, reducing the impact of human trafficking globally and especially in his home state of North Carolina is a cause very near to his heart.
