May Is Mental Health Awareness Month
Tonight's Guest Is Hope,
Hope is obviously not my real name but it is what I am today. Today I carry the message of hope to anyone who is suffering from mental health problems and who is in the Florida family court system. I promise you that if I am here today as an advocate for a nonprofit, a sober mother, a present mother, a full time employee that is a full time student a University getting my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Victim advocacy, a sober active member of a 12 step fellowship yet still dealing with a narcissist coparent, you too will get to the other side.
Yes, I suffer from mental health issues. I have been suffering from depression and anxiety since I was 16 years old. But I also suffer from the disease of addiction which I would not wish on my worst enemy, this disease is a cunning, powerful and baffling one that ultimately wants you dead. And I was 3 days away from that end result due to the trauma and mental and emotional pain, that isn’t the correct word because there is no word strong enough to describe, from the narcissistic and post separation abuse during our high conflict custody battle with all the special narcissist tricks of the trade: the smear campaign especially to all the other members in 2 different 12 step fellowships that then gained him the most amount of flying monkeys telling me to “kill myself and what a c*nt I am and no cares about me, look at how alone and pathetic you are, he deserves much better than your junkie whore a$$, he deserves full custody because you’re just a bitter baby mama”, then the new supply came into my life and ignited his ego even more but god speed today to her bc karma is a powerful vindictive one.
