Sparky Lee grew up in the system. Sparky's mother sold him for her drug habit to anyone who would get her high. Eventually, he went into foster care. After 25 homes, Sparky and his brother were split up. Sparky went to group homes. It was there that he began to pad his resume as a gang member and felon. After over 30 homes, he was deemed a program failure. He landed into California youth authority.  Three years later, Sparky ended up serving 20 years for a crime he did not commit.

Sparky has been out 2 years. In those two years, Sparky Lee has a successful organization that serves foster children, adults, homeless, and those returning home from prison. Sparky is a pastor and he is involved in FIVE organizations serving as a CEO, a VP, or a communication director. He has served to a position of communication director for a potential congress woman and a potential mayor.

We at LEGACY have had a total of 40 clients enter our program with no violations or further jail time. What is our success some would ask. It's just we've been there and done that. We focus on solutions and understanding. As a pastor and CEO, he enjoys relating and applying the principles he has learned. Sparky Lee enjoys working with other organizations and being part of the solutions.

We are not our crime. We are human beings that require love and a chance, sometimes 2 or 3. We live with the motto.... "How it begins is never how it ends".
