Afrikans: The New Original Earth Stewards

Join us on a special broadcast of George Jackson University Radio Wednesday  4/6/2016 8est/7cst by calling 3478267332 or listening online at www.blogtalkradio.com/georgejacksonradio.  We will be joined by our special guest Eka Asase Yaa, Founder of Sankofa Science Solutions, which offers a culturally-based science curriculum, lab instruction, and parent-student resources, McCarty and Maathai Community Garden, and she is also a contributing writer for George Jackson University’s Concrete Chronicles.  On this broadcast we will discuss environmental justice, environmental racism, organic, natural, and GMOs, which are popping up in more dialogues around the world, which in turn calls upon our environmental engagement; so does it call upon our awakening to our true SELVES as the ORIGINAL EARTH STEWARDS. The mainstream society loves and capitalizes off our culture, food, spirituality, & lifestyle that is innately harmonious with the Earth. . Let’s unite to provide our Afrikan children limitless opportunities to remember who they are, to create who they will be.  We will discuss this along with other initiatives in regards to repatriation, agriculture and land development, and the need to delve deep into developing strong institutions in the fields of science and engineering in Afrika and all around the world where you find African people.  We will collectively work to liberate our spirit through connection to our Ancestors who pioneered great contributions in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), educate our minds through hands-on inquiry based scientific lab instruction, germinate our ingenuity through application of your knowledge to solve 21st Century real world problems.
