Special Guest Diamond Cavazos Rivas and IWW IWOC

Join us on this broadcast  today, Wednesday night 4/20/16 by calling 347 826 7332 or logging on to www.blogtalkradio.com/georgejacksonradio.  Our guest tonight is Diamond Cavazos Rivas, who is current a full-time advocate for prisoners rights.  She is also a Contributor to George Jackson University's.  She will discuss with us how she became interested in this work and what type of programs she is currently taking part in to  fight for our peoples rights, who are currently locked away.  These people are often forgot about by many, but not by GJU and of course not by Diamond Rivas.  We also will have on organizers from Industrial Workers of the World and also their Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee.  The IWW is a member-run union for all workers, a union dedicated to organizing on the job, in our industries and in our communities. IWW members are organizing to win better conditions today and build a world with economic democracy tomorrow. They want our workplaces to run for the benefit of workers and communities rather than for a handful of bosses and executives. The IWOC is a branch of IWW and they will come on tonight to discuss and bring us up to date and in the know about the current work strikes in the Texas PRISONS!
