In 2010, the Yankee slave-state, forced the Belizean government to return Dakem, without process, under the slave clause of the constitution. The Belizean government handed over Dakem X as "state property" within 24 hours of the Yankee demand. In 2014, from the revolutionary underground, Dakem X founded the New Afrikan Communist Party, naming Commander George Lester Jackson as Secretary General from the grave.  Dakem X is very adamant in seeking to unite all New Afrikan formations in order to build one solidified New Afrikan Nation that will in turn implement our goals of independence, land sovereignty, and socialism. As Malcolm X said, “Land is the basis of Independence.” Dakem X understands this and because of it he is relentlessly continuing the work.
