Michael was the past legal director of New York based Center for Constitutional Rights .Member of the National Lawyers Guild .He has received many rewards for his work in efforts surrounding prison issues ,human rights violations and law violations.He has worked with former political prisoner Zolo Azania .Michael was a lawyer in the case of the 1971 Attica Rebellion where the prisoners won a case against New York City .And millions of dollars were rewarded to prisoners.
