Law abiding – honest, righteous, honorable, upright, upstanding, good, decent, virtuous, moral, dutiful, obedient, compliant: Law dictionary, a law-abiding person always obeys the law and is considered to be good and honest because of this. We believe that the law should protect decent law-abiding citizens and their property.  Obeying or keeping the law; obedient to law: The majority of these people are hardworking, law-abiding citizens who believe in strong family values. The inhabitants are law-abiding and crimes of violence are very rare, The Hawaiian Islands, The Department of Foreign Affairs.

Personally: People who are law abiding and respect and support law enforcement and are not engaged by Police.

Non-Law Abiding – dishonest, unrighteous, no show of respect for law enforcement and are more likely engaged by Police.
