GENERATIONAL

What we learn about next generations is tough on conscience. Around the world developed nations are experiencing hardships enveloped in what could arguably be called the greatest existential threat that will never be a headline.  Before the eugenisits and authorianians get overly excited, understanding that next generations have decided to live another life will be on our mind.  Why have birthrates continued to decline around the world? In Britain, in France and Germany, Japan, Russia, United States, Canada, we do not have enough children being born to maintain our current way of living.  Why are so many young couples deciding not to have children?  We don't have to go far to find answers.  Living in poverty. Living without purpose. People are dying from our negligent use of water and air. Our politicians wave swords at multinationals but otherwise do not to bite the hand that feeds them. Suicide is escalating. The world feels unsafe and hostile.  So why are we being held responsible for the sins of our fathers?  We are the generation of stewardship at a time when extinction didn't matter. The tobacco lobby, the obsence effects of big pharma and dependence on our cars while tearing holes in the atmosphere. We know the chemical signatures that kill and still collaborate with producers. So why wouldn't next gens assign blame to the generation who did nothing? Why wouldn't young men avoid organizations they associate with complacence?  And why would the world not want to keep the nightmare away by pulling a blanket over a few heads?  We took what we wanted and told ourselves it wasn't on us. But who could have foreseen this. We released an unrepentent internet industry on the minds of the worlds children.  Uncontrolled acess. Is it time to listen? How to make sense of the past? Having values, being moral helps enormously
