During this time she recognized that a healthy spirit (who we are as a person) could make the difference between a miserable death and a positive, meaningful end-of-life experience for both the patients and their loved ones.  This information is vitally important to persons faced with a life-limiting illness and everyone else, as well.  In 2010 Judy received Central Florida’s “Woman of Hope” award for her book and her work with hospice.
