Yesterday I received another disturbing phone call with an African American female very upset over the firing of another African American female.
I was told that the reason for her firing was that she brought her child on campus for an estimated 10 minutes.
First reaction? "There must be something else to it." After nearly 20-years employed in the Alief ISD she is now no longer employed AND NO ONE is talking about it.
Two Black teachers out, two white males brought in.
Something is amiss in Texas and help is needed.
If I have to be the only one on strike, THEN I have to be the only one on strike in Texas.
On what grounds?
The alarming appearance of unchecked, institutionalized racism, vigorously practiced in the Alief ISD needs to be evaluated and monitored for compliance.
Just 1 deep? Then it will have to be just 1 deep..
