SPECIAL GUEST: Ameenah McCann is the supervisor of prevention programs at BEBASHI-Transition to Hope located in Philadelphia, PA. Prevention programs at BEBASHI include educating and outreaching to the urban community by way of coordinating educational workshops around HIV/AIDS and STD’s. In addition she heads the HIV and STD testing and counseling and referral services. Moreover, she manages other programs such as group level interventions, one to one risk reduction services to youth, early intervention services targeting high risk women, care outreach services, and breast cancer awareness.
