NCADD, founded in 1944 by Marty Mann, the first woman to get sober in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is dedicated to increasing public awareness and understanding of the disease of alcoholism and drug dependence. Shirley Beckett Mikell, NCAC II, CAC II, SAP is the Director of Certification and Education NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals and has more than 37 years experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders.
