Johnathan Bender played in the NBA for eight years. He was in the top-5 of the 1999 draft pick. he was drafted by the Pacers into a $7 million dollar contract. Pulling down 10 rebounds and scoring 31 points, Jonathan broke Michael Jordan’s scoring record set in 1981 and continues to reign as the game’s all-time leading scorer.

Unfortunately, Johnathan had to leave the league after seven years of dealing with debilitating knee pain. He took four years retirement and worked on his health. While using his own product prototype—now coined the “JB Intensive Trainer”—Bender became fit enough to re-enter the NBA, where he played for another  year with the New York Knicks.  Amazingly, when the team doctors did strengthening tests on Bender, they discovered he had the strongest lower extremities on the team!

Also wanting to give back to the community, Bender also established a non-profit organization, The Jonathan Bender Foundation, which strives to empower children in his community by providing them with the tools to obtain life skills that address their educational, health and social needs.  http://thejonathanbenderfoundation.org/
