Omar Hasan Today we will be talking with Omar Hasan author of two powerful books called The Disappearance Of Hate and Mental Diet. The Biography Of Omar Hasan: Omar Hasan also known as Mansu Edwards is a Brooklyn Native who attended Long Island University in New York City. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree and later completed Screenwriting courses at New York Film Academy and The Frederick Douglas Creative Arts Center. At L.I.U., Mr. Hasan penned his poetry in a small notebook. The entries contained visions of joy, love, triumph, defeat and determination. Stepping outside of the box as a traditional book writer, his inspiration to become a muse began with a chat session on AOL. He and another user from Pennsylvania wrote rhymes using the Instant Message feature. In November 2009, he self-published the poetry ebook “The Disappearance Of Hate” which later became a paper pressed publication at the advice of neighborhood Barber, Casper. During the summer of 2010, Omar read passages of the book to children at Salem Baptist Church program in Harlem. He touched on the importance of doing well in school and focusing on God given talents to become successful in life. Nonetheless, “The Disappearance of Hate” took readers on a journey of self- reflection, fear, adversity, limited thinking, valor and positive action in achieving one’s dream. In December 2010, under the moniker Mansu Edwards, he released “Mental Diet”, a self help/inspirational cookbook.
