• a founding and board member of an ecological community, Earthworks, Inc., in Indiana.
• Its educational mission was to teach young people and adults, through experiences, to reverence and to be good stewards of a sustainable earth and all of its beings.
• In his priestly ministry he was a parish priest, college teacher and hospital chaplain.
• He continues his interest in the evolution versus religion debate and social justice issues!
