First Actress with a Disability to be Cast in a Series Role, GERI JEWELL ReCreates Her Role In The Film Version of The HBO Hit Series "DEADWOOD" & Appears Along With Star Studded Cast of Joey Travolta's "Carol of the Bells" Featuring 70% of a Crew and Cast with Disabilities.

Geri Jewell shattered the glass ceiling for individuals with dissabilities when she was cast by Norman Lear in the hit series "The Facts of Life" and then again in the HBO series "Deadwood," and now the long awaited DEADWOOD film, based on the Golden Globe and Emmy-winning series is set in 1876 brings closure for fans by jumping forward 13 years to 1889. The film will premiere in April 2019 on HBO, HBO NOW, HBO GO and HBO On Demand. 

In addition, Geri is honored to appear in the upcoming feature film CAROL OF THE BELLS, co-starring friends and colleagues, Donna Mills, Lee Purcell and Donna Pescow, for director Joey Travolta and his Inclusion Films. The film is poised to disrupt the movie-making industry by dispelling mistaken myths about adults with unique developmental abilities and characteristics. On screen as well as off, given 70% of the crew was comprised of people with developmental disabilities.
