CITIZEN'S ARREST PROCESSED
The officer gathered all parties together, and he conducted the citizen's arrest proceedings.
Robin Hvidston announced to her assailant that she was placing her under citizen's arrest - to be prosecuted for battery and assault.
Raymond Herrera announced that he was placing the same assailant under citizen's arrest for the assault to his face/eye via the torn up, card stock newsletter.
HVIDSTON MET WITH POLICE - UPLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT
At 4:00pm, on Sunday, 4/15/12, Hvidston met with Upland Police staff at the Upland Police Department. Police made a copy of the assault video, which was entered into the record as evidence

BACKGROUND INFO:
January 2012: Raymond Herrera was contacted by parishioners and Upland residents who opposed the new Spanish mass. Upland's first Catholic Parish, St Joseph's, offers the majority of its masses in Spanish.
An Upland resident reported:

"Over 1/2 - 3/4 of the parishioners from St. Joseph's Parish (Upland's first Catholic Church) left and went to St. Anthony's when they forced the Spanish Mass on the Parish. They also got rid of the two English speaking priests because they didn't speak Spanish."
