This evening Tracey Miller talks about her ongoing battle over the care of her brother who has suffered a long term brain injury.  Tracey is now considering what provisions might be available under the Olmstead Act to finally rescue her brother from the unwanted and unneeded guardianship.  This will be a huge undertaking as there is lots of money at stake.

Tracey's brother Mike is a virtual cash cow in the system and one that has been milked for decades.

In 2009, the Civil Rights Division launched an aggressive effort to enforce the Supreme Court's decision in Olmstead v. L.C., a ruling that requires states to eliminate unnecessary segregation of persons with disabilities and to ensure that persons with disabilities receive services in the most integrated setting appropriate to their needs.

Please join us as we look at a little known law and what it might mean to those held against their will by predatory guardians and other interested party's.
