"Nosey's Law"  which prohibits the use of elephants in traveling acts (named after a Florida-based elephant leading the tough, solitary life of solo perfoming elephant.) "Nosey's Law" PASSED in the New Jersey Senate on October 20, 2016 with a 32–5 vote and awaits action in the Assembly and the Governor’s signature.  This bill, S-2508, known as "Nosey's Law" would prohibit the use of elephants in traveling animal acts, which are defined as any performance that requires an animal to be transported to or from the location of the performance in a mobile or traveling housing facility.
