Black Farmers And Agriculturists Association

After battling USDA since the Pigford II settlement decision, the USDA tried a last ditch effort to throw out the claims of an estimated 15,000 black farmers and their heirs. The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia denied the motion by USDA for a summary ruling that would have let the USDA off the hook for the damages they caused by refusing to process the claims.

Lesa Donnelly, and Jonel Wagoner. The whistleblowers are coming out of the woodwork on this issue! Lesa Donnelly has been a leading spokesperson for twenty years on the sexual harassment and abuse of women in the Forestry Service. She and Jonel Wagoner have multiple updates on the progress being made to gain accountability.
