Debbie Payne lost her husband.  Her journey as a caregiver also ended. Her husbands story needs to be told. She also will be discussing the need to bury her husband. This community is trying to help. It all will be discussed on the show.

Khorbyn Edwards will be a guest on the show also...his mother Carol,  volunteered for us.  Carol Edwards was an amazing woman.

Being on dialysis was taking a toll on her, but she would extend the hand to help fellow patients. It was amazing to see her drop off a patient that could not walk.  She would drop him off at the front, then try and find a place to park and joined him.

She passed and we still feel the void.  She was also a Clinical Social Worker who wanted change.  I miss you Carol !

Update on the patient who was on last week that was terminated from life saving care.  This case has taken an interesting turn of events.

Arlene Mullin — advocate, 20 years experience guiding patients and their families through all aspects of End Stage Renal Disease and treatments.  Mullin has served patients in a majority of states, engaging both Medicare and state health authorities towards resolution of quality care issues at clinics.  Comprehensive knowledge of care issues on clinic level.  She was instrumental in getting the hearings on aging before the U.S. Senate in 2000 where she testified on patient care issue within the dialysis industry.
