First, We will have Marcel Reid updating us on the annual whistleblower summit held each year in Washington DC.
This program will also address the wide-ranging set of issues related to Black farmer land acquisition, land loss, and the value of the land that was lost along with egregious means by which it was lost.
We will have Dr. Waymon Hinson, who has been involved in the Black farmer movement since 1994. He participated in the first mediation hearings in DC in 1997 and has spoken and published in this area. He and Shoun Hill are currently completing a document on the farmers who prevailed against the USDA and DOJ between '97 and '99
Also, we will have with us again, Nate Rosenberg and Bryce Stuckie, investigative journalist & researchers, that have been studying Black land loss, and the racism & abuse minority farmers, especially, Black farmers & employees, that has been going on at the US Department of Agriculture for decades, president after president, administration after administration, and secretary of agriculture after secretary.
