Our guest is Nina Kaden.  Nina was the sister of Selah Kaden who it is alleged was murdered by the Barry's.

The State of  Wisconsin vs. Laurie and Alexis Barry

Felony first degree reckless homicide in the death of  13 year old Selah Kaden.

This trial has all the ingredients of a made for tv movie. The 2 taboo topics religion and politics. Living on a farm in Mineral Point Wisconsin is the extended Barry family, plus an adopted child who was in a guardianship and respite care children one of whom was Selah.

Dr. Michael Stier, A Forensic Pathology Specialist from the University of Wisconsin Medical School with 28 years of experience, saying it was the worst case of child abuse he ever saw, classifying it as torture. performed one of the autopsies on Selah Kaden who according to numerous medical professionals had been dead for several hours when 911 was called.

The one fact that is true in this case is that Selah is dead.  The State says she died while Alexis held down Selah's hands and her Mother Laurie suffocated her with a blanket. The Barrys are denying this fact.

There is one witness who has not been called and that is Nina.  Nina is the adopted sister of Saleh and she claims she was tortured as well in the Barry home.  A home she says is like a Christian extremist home with bizarre beliefs including wanting to starve her for 40 days because Jesus could starve for 40 days.  Leaving her to sleep outside in the winter and use the bathroom outside like a dog. Not allowing her feminine hygiene during menstruation and making her stand naked in the middle of a room.

On the political side of this story the other sister who has not been charged with a crime but who admitted under oath that she did live at that home is running for the United States House of Representative against Wisconsin's Mark Pocan.
