Dr. Marsha Coleman-Adebayo's Bio, Dr. Marsha Coleman-Adebayo received her BA degree from Barnard College/Columbia University and her doctorate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).  She is originally from Detroit, Michigan.  TIME Magazine has called her the Rosa Parks of the 21st century for her bravery in the face of workplace violence and intimidation. Dr. Coleman-Adebayo is the author of the Pulitzer-nominated book: No FEAR: A Whistleblower’s Triumph over Corruption and Retaliation at the EPA. Dr. Coleman-Adebayo provided the leadership for the passage of the first civil rights and whistleblower law of the 21st century: the Notification of Federal Employees Anti-discrimination and Retaliation Act (NO FEAR) of 2002, Currently@aol.com, Dr. Coleman-Adebayo provides leadership to the Bethesda African Cemetery Coalition (BACC.)  This organization is committed to ending the ongoing desecration of a historic, UNESCO-worthy African burial ground in one of the wealthiest communities in the US. Marsha has contributed articles to two books on the Moses African Cemetery. She also hosts a radio show, What’s at Stake” on WPFW-fm, She is married to Dr. (Rev) Segun Adebayo, former Associate Dean and Chair, the UDC Department of Engineering and Pastor of the Macedonia Baptist Church.  

Dr. Adebayo will share her journey to pass the historic "No Fear Legislation", her efforts to save the Moses African American Cemetery, in Bethesda, MD, and how that struggle compares with the Black farmers struggle against the US Department of Agriculture, "The last Plantation". We will discuss their efforts to save their land and generational wealth, that goes with it.
