I subscribe to the O magazine and love reading the articles and getting new ideas for my life. The article that emerged in the new year suggests looking at life differently. Wholeness over Wellness. I decided to delve into the topic on my own before reading what the magazine offered since, ironically, my word for 2023 is "Conscious Living." I seem to explain to people every time I state my word for my next that I don't mean "mindfulness ." What's bothering me because the question I confront myself with each time is why I must explain when I do mean mindfulness. I'm sure it's because I think when you hear the phrase "conscious living," you will automatically associate it with mindfulness which we tend to associate with meditation. Meditation is the practice of pondering. And pondering is the practice of conscious living. As the Bible so eloquently says, "thinking on these things." It's not something you do; it's something you allow. Something you become. It's consciously considering how you move about the earth and interact with others. It's how you make decisions. LET'S TALK ABOUT IT! COME AND HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE ON ME! Be sure to pick up "Conversations Over Coffee, from seet to cup" Sold at Amazon & Barnes & Noble.
