SATURDAY 8AM - ONLINE OR DIAL IN 516-453-6065 TO TALK TO THE HOST & Join the conversation. Grab your mug and fill it up. Let's talk about discovering you. WHO AM I?
We often talk about self-care, but have you considered that you have to know yourself to take care of yourself properly? Because you can't take care of yourself if you don't know what you need. Figuring out who you are makes it more accessible. Lately, I have been considering who I am on a deeper level. In the book The Art of Showing Up by Rachel Wilkerson Miller, she gives a strategy to back into your likes by addressing your dislikes. The idea was interesting, so I tried it. The exercise helped me realize that some of the things I deemed core beliefs had changed over time. Like I've told you many times, changing your mind is okay. The problem is people change and forget to tell you. The idea that your likes have changed can make you feel it was all a sham. That you were capping, as the kids say. Not true. The Bible even tells us everything must change.
For this reason, relationships often start beautiful, and without the proper work, they begin to be challenging over time. Grab your mug and fill it up. Let's go on this journey together. For me, the greater exchange happens in the morning when it's just ME, God, and a Cup of Coffee. JOIN THE CONVERSATION.
