Tom Wright (Ezekial Scott): Wright plays an FBI agent -- or “G-Man” -- investigating the unusual and suspicious events taking place in Granite Flats, working closely with Chief of Police John Sanders. An African American, the Ezekiel Scott character is part of what was an actual groundbreaking initiative by J. Edgar Hoover to recruit and train “Negro” agents, drawing a connection between the fight for civil rights in the U.S. and the struggle against communist oppression
