Black / African : Divided we fall

Once again an identity crisis has crept into our communities. There was a point where black and I'm Proud was the rally cry.

Then it became we are African Americans embracing our African heritage.

Now today many young people have decided to deny the African ancestry belief and prefer to be called black.

We as a people are always attempting to classify or place ourselves in a specific group, why?

We will be discussing this division among ourselves, asking the question why do we constantly divide form within.
