A Montgomery police officer has been arrested on misdemeanor charges stemming from multiple “swatting” incidents in Prattville.

Officer Christopher Eugene Sanspree Jr., 23, is charged with six counts of falsely reporting an incident. Those charges are misdemeanor crimes.

Prattville Police Chief Mark Thompson said in a press release investigators determined that Sanspree made several phone calls to Autauga County 911 to falsely report various incidents.
