NABWIC Talks with JC Burton

JocCole “J.C.” Burton realized she had an aptitude for engineering when, as a nine-year old she took apart, then successfully reassembled the family television set. J.C.’s parents nurtured her analytical skills, developing her into a first-rate problem solver, via family game night calculus challenges or by encouraging her to read her older cousin’s college textbooks. At the time, she was 14.

By providing Woodline Solutions’ clients with integrated services of program management, LEED services and construction management, J.C. Burton remains on the forefront of implementing green technologies and standards. Her personal commitment to develop and manage projects that reduce the carbon footprint, optimize water systems, improve indoor air quality and utilize materials with a high recycled content makes her a leader in eco-friendly design and development. She sums it up this way: “Our vision is to directly impact our clients’ with green projects by helping them reduce the tax on our natural resources. As we do our jobs well, everybody wins.”
