The United Nations has declared September 21 as the Internartional Day of Peace. The UN theme for 2022 is End Racism, Build Peace. Citizens in Puerto Rico continue to feel the devastating effects of Hurrican Fiona FEMA reports that it is sending help. Residents of Jackson Mississippi are still without clean, drinkable water, and while the Mississippi Department of Human Services states it is offering low income familkies financial relief from paying water bills, Rainbow PUSH and a coalition of Ministers in Chicago are urging more government and citizen help to get clean water to the residents of Mississippi, whose lives are disrupted by the current water crises.  Also, an explosion on the top floor of a building on the West Side of Chicago left several injured, who have been rushed to local hospitals for treatment.
