In the second hour we continue our month-long tribute to the 87th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through a lecture by labor historian Michael Honey on the civil rights leader's intervention in the Memphis santitation workers strike of early 1968, the last political campaign leading to his assassination on April 4 of that year. Finally we review a lecture delivered at Oxford University by Winnie Byanyima, the executive director of Oxfam International, asking the question: Is Africa Rising?
