We will feature our regular PANW report with dispatches on the death of boxing and political legend Muhammad Ali;  there are plans drafted by the Southern African Development Community (SADC) to pursue alternative sources of funding for its regional economic agenda; South Africa is avoiding fears of a further meltdown in regard to its capacity to retain and attract source of investment; Brazil ousted President Dilma Rousseff is preparing for impeachment proceeding scheduled to begin soon; and the People's Republic of China is resisting claims against its declaration of sovereignty over islands in the South Sea. In the second hour we begin a month-long commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Black Power movement. We will provide audio files and analysis of the opposition of Muhammad Ali to the Vietnam war. Also we hear the voice of Stokely Carmichael, later known as Kwame Ture, discussing urban rebellion and opposition to the Vietnam war in 1966, the year Black Power became a rallying cry for the African American masses. In addition we will examine a rare interview with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his views on Vietnam and Black Power. Finally we present a recording of African American soldiers expressing their opposition to the Vietnam war during the early 1970s.
