Flawed but Loved Anyway -- Write Stuff -- 6/14/2016

I love watching Antiques Roadshow whenever I get a chance to sit down. It's so exciting to watch as people bring wonderful treasures from the past to have them evaluated to see how much they're worth. Sometimes, the amounts are small and others are pretty outrageous.  At times, the items presented are in mint condition -- no signs of aging, wear or tear, or nicks. At other times, the items presented may have small deformities in them -- nicks, dents, scuffs, etc. which may bring the value of the item down. However, even then, sometimes a collector who LOVES to collect a particular item will stll pay top dollar for it. It doesn't matter that the item is flawed. Thee value of the object is greater than any deformities or flaws.
