S.  is whether a person is liberal or conservative with further distinctions between being far right, far left, moderate and a whole hosts of other sublabels. If one labels themselves as a Democrat or a Republican, depending on the receiving person's POV, you're the enemy, you're misguided, etc.

But there is an 'I' in politics. What does that 'I' stand for? According to our guest today, it's important that we identify where we get principles in politics—what is the fundamental principle in a good political system.
