Dovetales Welcomes the Multi-talented Singer/Songwriter Krystal Livingston

Dovetales is excited to begin the year, with a woman of God who knows how to remain hopful even when matters appear hopeless. We welcome Singer/Songwriter, Actress and Playwright, Krystal A. Livingston, whose been gracing audiences with her God-given gifts since the age of 6.  Born and raised in Bronx, NY to Southern parents; she began singing in youth/young adult choirs, praise teams and performing in musicals all over the nation. In high school (Cardinal Spellman High School), she joined and eventually directed the Gospel Choir.  While attending the University of New Haven (UNH), in Connecticut; she founded and then directed the UNH Gospel Choir until she graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science.  She returned to UNH in 2005 to obtain her Master’s degree in National Security & Public Safety.  During that time, she became the university’s first Adjunct Professor to teach Gospel Music Performance.
