When I first connected with Lewis Smith via the show, he obliterated all the lies that famous psuedo-science, and misted history book called the Da Vinci code had spread. He further took up the mantle and started to write in the same vein but with a blend of historical fact and truth. His first book, The Testimonium published to wild success, followed up by The Redemption of Pontius Pilate, Matthew’s Autograph, Theophilus, and most recently his fifth novel The Gnostic Library.

Meeting Lewis Smith is almost like meeting Indiana Jones. Our favorite whip-wielding archaeologist is a professor. Lewis is a teacher of history to six different grades. Indiana searches the world for wonderful and strange artifacts. Lewis mines ancient riverbeds to find what was left behind by long ago inhabitants. Indiana is a man of many talents and background. Many of Lewis's friends say the same thing. Not only a teacher and an archaelogist, Lewis is a Navy war veteran, world world traveler, husband, father, and an all around nice guy.

Most important of all, he's a follower of Jesus Christ.
