Marcia Jackson, a forty-nine-year-old widow, has been struggling with her faith for many years. The unexpected death of her devoted husband thirteen years ago left her alone to raise three children growing up in Southern Maryland.

She is desperately praying to God for answers on where her life is going and what’s her purpose. Marcia's journey to faith leads her on a path to meeting forty-nine-year-old Thomas Banks, and several other people, who unknowingly becomes connected through a series of events. They all begin asking God, why? In time, they will all receive their answers. But will their answers be what they all expected?
