Death. The cessation of life. Or the beginning of a new existence.

A door. A bridge. A portal. A second dimension.

Through human history, folklore has been used to describe this harbinger of our end. From the Grim Reaper, to the Santa Muerte, Death has walked through stories, art, poetry, and our lives. How we perceive it is based on a myriad of factors -- belief system, cultures, scientific observations, and more.

Death, as the saying goes, is all around us. And yes, we tell the story of death.

But -- is death to be feared? Should we embrace as if that's all there is? How does our folklore of death different from person to person, from region to region?

Or, in the case of our guest today, can Death... ever be playful?

On this Special Edition of Write Stuff, we'll be chatting with a forensic investigator and writer, Kent Holloway, who works in the field of 'death'. His unique view of death affects his outlook on death ... and maybe give us a few laughs tonight, Wednesday, August 24th at 7 PM Eastern time.  Listen in by calling 646-668-8485.
