Transhumanism and the Metaverse -- The Parker J. Cole Show

On this edition of the Parker J. Cole show, we tackle transhumanism and the metaverse.

This show came about because a friend of mine, who knows what things captures my interest well, sent me an article titled, "Transhumanism and the Metaverse" by Charles Eisenstein. 

What can I say? I consider this article 'brain gum'. The more you chew, the more flavorful it gets. Mr. Eisenstein goes into what transhumanism is, what the metaverse, and an analysis of where they intersect. 

Can humanity be 'dialed and set' to a specific odometer by integrating itself with technology? Can the metaverse fully supplant reality? If so, is that really a good idea? 

As soon as I finished the article, I knew I had to reach out to my guest, Dr. Jeff Rhoades, author of The Bible, Dimensions, and the Spiritual Realm to discuss this topic from a biblical perspective. We barely scratch the surface of this, but we certainly had a great time as we approached some items of interest from a biblical standpoint.
