In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Kellie and Lisa will revisit a former show where they discussed DV. Kellie has talked about previously being the victim of domestic violence. When she was going through this, there was no help...even the police did not want to become involved. Now it seems like the authorities have gone completely in the opposite direction and are now punishing the victim. There was a case in Austin, TX where a husband badly beat his wife in front of their kids. He was arrested. When he was released he returned to his house...it is his house. His wife and his son and their son were in the house. This is because his son was only 9 and had no one to take care of him besides the wife...and she was not legally able to remove that child from the house because he was not her kid. When CPS arrived to investigate, because he had been allowed to return to his house, they decided to remove both children from the home and decided the victim in this case needed to have supervised visitation with her 17-month-old son.

OK, I believe this is one situation people are afraid will happen to them if they report domestic violence. In this case, it has become a horror story.Clearly, CPS is punishing the victim. What do you think?
