Seventeen year old Saul Singleton entered a beautiful film into the prestigious high school Golden Lion Awards, only to be told that "Since our festival adheres to a strict PG-comparable rating system, we are unable to accept any films with clearly illustrated LGBQT+ themes."

Yet, they claim to be LGBT inclusive. (His story was told here: https://www.gaystarnews.com/article/short-film-festival-rejects-student-sign-language-film-gay-kiss/ )
