R&B songstress and background vocalist Natalie Imani releases a brand new mixtape on May 21, 2013 entitled Fame Or Love. Between spot show dates promoting her 2012 independent release Passion Mark, and touring as a back-up singer for artists such as John Legend, Jeffrey Osborne, Nicki Minaj, and more, Natalie has been hard at work creating brand new music. Over the last year, she’s teamed up with New Jersey’s own Evolve Management and BlockStars Production Studios to create the Fame Or Love mixtape borrowing from some of today’s hottest music as the musical bed for the project.

Fame Or Love transforms hits like Kendrick Lamar’s “Swimming Pools” into “Catching Feelings”, a warning to a lovestruck partner, featuring an appearance by the legendary R&B group 112’s Q.Parker. Ranging from hard-hitting hip-hop hits like “Bow Down” (Meek Mill’s “Amen”) to sensual R&B such as “Body Language” (Wiz Khalifa’s “Remember You”), On the project, Natalie also tackles issues like choosing between a life of love or the pursuit of musical happiness and stardom with songs like “The Road” (Rihanna’s “Stay”) and the title track which ironically borrows the music of Chris Brown’s “Fine China.”
