Milling About with Peter Marc Jacobson

Happily Divorced writer, producer, and creator Peter Marc Jacobson joins host Robin Milling to talk about the new season which picks up where Fran Drescher's Fran is caught between two lovers; noncommittal but exciting Elliot or dependable pizza parlor owner Frankie guest starring Ralph Macchio.

Peter tells Robin how the series about a husband played by John Michael Higgins who announces he's gay after 18 years of marriage is based on his real 19 year marriage to Drescher whom he met at 21 years old in Queens. The difference Peter says is he didn't fully come out of the closet until a year after they separated when he was offered a set-up with Sharon Stone and turned it down. That's when he knew! Fran and Peter remain friends who love one another through thick and thin which is evidently mirrored in the series.

Other upcoming guest stars include Joan Collins, Cyndi Lauper, Florence Henderson and Robert Wagner to name a few. Happily Divorced airs Wednesdays at 10:30 PM ET on TV Land.
