Milling About With Treat Williams

Treat Williams joins host Robin Milling to talk about his role as a doctor circa 1920's in The Great Alaskan Race  The true story - written, directed and starring Brian Presley - is about mushers who drove their Huskies 700 miles in 80 degrees below zero to retreve serum to save the lives of children in the small town of Nome, Alaska from diptheria.

While the cast had to brave the stormy weather shooting in Silverton, Colorado, Treat tells Robin, despite being an experienced pilot he had a bout with the altitude. A certified flight instructor, he also reveals some seriously close calls over the course of his time flying multi-engine planes.

Most significantly, this marks the 40th anniversary of the musical film Hair.  Treat recalls the harrowing audition process he had to go through to land the iconic role of Berger
