Similarities with Religious Radicalization and 90 day AA Brainwashing-

 A one hour show with host Monica Richardson, activist, filmmaker and victims advocate for those harmed and forced to AA. After eight years of work within AA, then leaving AA, exposing it and trying to make change happen- I still wondered how do people get so brainwashed by AA so fast. I often thought the three readings done at every meeting had a part in it, but was not sure in what way. Last week, late at night, I turned on the TV. Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman was on. He was interviewing a Professor in the Middle East who was explaining how people can get radicalized so fast. I was pulled in. Intrigued. So we watched. Sure enough the Professor talked about how switching from using the words "I and me" to "Us and We", a person starts to make differnent conections with the group being more important. AA is filled with that. AA very directly says in its literature that the "Group must live or  the individual will surely DIE" ! No science in that. We want to promote alternative treatment to AA and its 12 steps, groups and ideology. We promote using Science, kindness,  medicine and Professional therapy.
