Join Monica Richardson and a long time  ex stepper who left AA after 30 years. The Salad Years : Monica and Steve discuss their long-time associations with AA. Steve Clark spent nearly 30 years in AA after being "diagnosed" as a teenager by a family member. Throughout what should have been his most productive years he barely ever got above water both professionally and personally. In 2009 he came clean about being an atheist in AA, and by 2012 his relationship with the organization began to deteriorate. After leaving AA his career and personal relationships are stable and rewarding.
