A Message to Our Muslim Youth - Kutbah notes.

Read Sura 31:12-16 Dear Young Muslims we have put you in debt to present the best Islamic character to the public & to learn and teach this way of life.

Nothing pleases your parents more than you independently accepting Allah & Prophet Muhammed. Not because momma & daddy said it but because YOU understand that Allah says this is what I am to do. Shaytan fills the gaps with wrong and sin. There is no generation gap in Al-Islam. Young Muslims for every issue/problem you face there is an older person here to help you

Know your history and progress as a African-American & as Muslims. Your parents did NOT come into Al-Islam seeking to be Arab or Pakistani. We came here seeking FREEDOM, JUSTICE & EQUALITY!

FIGHT THE SCHEMES of shaytan. Don’t try to fight shaytan he is too filthy to fight, but fight his schemes. Satan cannot make you do wrong he can only invite you.

BAPTIZE (submerge) your mind into the Holy Qur’an.

Discipline and master your food and sex appetites. They may super-size the meal but Allah did not super-size your stomach. Remain chaste until marriage. Stay natural; men are for women and women are for men. Allah made our digestion tract for processing food not a sex organ. Discipline your fun: don’t let having fun be your master.

Do not welcome sin into your life.

There is no sin too big that Allah will not forgive. Take that sin to the prayer rug and leave it right there.

 Allah has great plans for you. YOU ARE THE BEST OF PEOPLE if you OBEY ALLAH.
